About what one might expect from a career banker/bureaucrat.

Bendel doesn't realize that there are Democrats who are supporting his opponent. Bendel thinks he has it made in the shade. He is in for a rude awakening. He has pissed off people over turf, sidewalks, and deer. Now witnessing his recent behavior toward a fellow commissioner and his unpopular decision to disallow nonresidents to speak, after having establishing a precedence at the two prior meetings have just made matters worse for Mr. Bendel.

Elaine, $pendel's skeleton's are about to come out of the closet. If you live in Ward 1, expect some ugly literature in your mail and knocks on your door.

Zack M., I don't live in Ward 1. I have the one who thinks I am madly in love with her. Ugh.

Would you mind emailing me a copy of the literature that is being circulated? EGillen476@aol.com

10:20. Videos of Bendel "in action" at the meetings will be priceless for anyone who runs against him here or wherever he runs. Keep posting youtubes!!! This will dog them long after Benner has packed up and moved on to other unsuspecting communities.

Zack, as a Ward 1 resident, I look forward to the literature.

I hear Bendel does indeed have an opponent. This should be a good one.

After watching this clip, you can be sure none (and that means none... zero... zip... nada) of the commissioners understands the lyrics to a familiar jingle "and like a good neighbor...".
It's unfathomable that we can fire guns close to our borders and install corrals in property that is shared with other municipalities and we will not listen to comments from non-residents.
These commissioners truly think they live in some kind of bubble.

We need at least two, possibly three to really change the way the municipality works.
Remember too, that the next Home Rule revision they'll be pushing is to eliminate the Super Vote needed to pass things like tax hikes and such.
If the public votes in favor of that one we collectively will need our heads examined.

Here's the problem. I have no idea who filed to run in the upcoming primary, but we took our eyes off the ball. The candidates stepping up to challenge the current pro-kill commissioners, might hold the same exact positions. Then what to do? We're screwed! This is all about politics, and removing the pro-kill/turf etc. commissioners, and replacing them with commissioners that will vote against these issues. Since this bipartisan group posting on this blog didn't organize politically and get a couple candidates to run, we might be totally screwed, and back at sqare one in 2016.

How many of these commissioners actually have stepped foot in any of the kill site parks? They have no appreciate for nature, the outdoors, children or parks. I know my local park so well that I could be blindfolded, sleep deprived and airdropped and find my way out within 5 minutes... but who cares, right? I thought I had access to a public park that would never be disrupted until I landed in Nazi Mt Lebanon. They are Nazis and stupid, too.
