Ball Field Signs on Cedar Blvd.

Through a Right To Know, four vendors have purchased signs for the ball fields on Cedar so far. They are:

  • Giant Eagle
  • Saloon of Mt. Lebanon
  • Oxford Landscaping
  • Concordia of the South Hills

I wonder why the Concordia was exempt from the $150 processing fee. Everyone else paid it.

I think it is because they had a sign last year. Isn't the $150 fee a one time charge?

Concordia may be a non-profit and, therefore, exempt from the fee. Not saying I agree or disagree. Just taking a guess.

Hi Elaine, you're probably correct, what is confusing is that the sign sponsorship program was approved February 10, 2015 which unless I'm mistaken there was no program last year so what did Concordia pay last year and what was the policy.

While we are on the subject, is it fair to say that the $150 goes to the municipality and the $750 goes to the replacement cost of the turf?
