Thanks to your blog, Elaine, many more people can be on the lookout for this missing teen. I hope that he is safe and that he is found very soon.

No Lebo Alerts for this young adult. Has he been found?

I haven't heard. On the MTL Police Facebook, there are no updates. I looked on their MTL website and didn't see anything mentioned at all about this. There was something about an IRS scam, deer management, and how they are hiring police officers. There is nothing on Kelly Fraasch's blog.

I have no idea, 8:44 AM. I hope he is found soon.

Across the country, there are 1.5 million black men missing - data report and discussions here:

How many missing black teenagers are there? Maybe we should start by asking Mt Lebanon? Why isn't there an update to the child's status? Why only WPXI helping with this?

Regardless of the child's intentions by leaving his residence, he is MISSING and he is a CHILD.

It does not surprise me that the MTL FB site would make this issue invisible.

All hopes and prayers for this child.

Whoa. When I thanked Elaine for making this a top story on her blog, I had no idea that she is the only one alerting the community about this boy's disappearance. The police aren't jumping up and down? No Lebo alert? Nothing? Thank stinks. Elaine, I hate to lay this one on you, but please keep us updated with any new information. Thank you.

Mr. Wolfson, Mellon Middle School principal, just sent an email to all parent/guardians. He said he received a Lebo Alert from the MLPD about the construction/traffic on Castle Shannon Blvd. No mention of the missing teenager.

I don't understand what is going on. This is the third missing person alert that I have posted on this blog. When I posted a photo of the first missing person, Charlotte Stephenson had seen my post, recognized the woman and spotted her on Banksville Road. The second was for a young woman and her photo was on all the media outlets. Fortunately, she was found and was safe.

I hope this young man is found quickly and is safe.

Thank you for updating the public that this teenager has been found.

Kids from that group home walk off all the time. They knew where he was headed and like they thought he ended up there.

What do you mean by "that group." Black male teenagers?

This blog post about the missing child should be taken down. I believe that when another teenager went missing from Mount Lebanon, her name and identity were protected. The same protection should be offered to this child now that he has been found. Please and thank you.

I removed his photo and name when I posted the update. Are you going to notify mtl Magazine, as well, 9:55 AM? Expectations of me are always so much higher than of staff and elected officials.

From 9:55. I have no hope for the magazine. I wouldn't attempt to make a suggestion based on ethics to them.

There is a "group home" on academy. That's what was meant. Kids from the group home have a tendency to go missing.

That's all.

Kind of like memories on how much they'll cost and how long they'll take regarding local construction and renovation projects.
Once they take off, everybody knows where they're headed so no one gets update.
