8:39, I don't know if those wooden studs are permanent or temporary. My guess is temporary because the nails holding the studs to the concrete aren't very long. I would think too if they were permanent that the contractor would have secured them better to the concrete curb with a much better masonry fastener.

That field will make next year's Earth Day Celebration a little bit of a joke won't it.
Isn't it ironic that for years the Environmental Protection Agency has big fines in place if you get caught disposing of your used vehicle tires in a field or along some stream.
On the other hand, it's perfectly acceptable for our local government to have those same tires ground up into little crumbs that will eventually find their way into our waterways and spread them all over our kids sports fields.
On top of that, our leaders will make a big to do celebrating Earth Day.

In September 2015, EPA will finalize the first ever national water pollution standards to limit the amount of toxic metals, nutrients and other harmful pollutants that are dumped into our water."
Arsenic, lead, mercury... aren't these the same chemicals found in tire crumbs? Bet our state representative and state senator will of course applaud Obama's clean water initiative and mute on tire rubber fields.

The concrete repair work will be taken out of the volunteer's sign sales "commission" next year.
Taxpayers will cover the difference.
